GIN TASTING WITH OWN GIN PRODUCTION - 120-150 min

No other spirit is currently experiencing such a renaissance as gin.

But there's no other topic on which so much half-knowledge is floating around the world right now. Mampe wants to remedy this.

But first, let's take a look behind the scenes of our glass factory with the most important stories about Berlin's oldest spirits brand, dating back to 1831.

Afterwards, participants will delve into the world of gin. How did gin's rise to power begin, what gin is made of, and what distinguishes a London Dry from a New Western? All this knowledge will be imparted during a tasting of very different gins.

Finally, each participant has the opportunity to put their new knowledge into practice. During a "gin compounding" session, each participant creates their own gin from 20 different distillates and takes it home in a 0.1-liter bottle.

Water, bread, and cheese for the tasting are included in the price. All participants receive a 10% discount at our liquor store on the day of the event.

Our factory is a distillery, liqueur factory, and liquor store. Home to exquisite handcrafted spirits, it's also a setting for extraordinary experiences. Located in the ancient brewhouse of a wheat beer brewery, right in the heart of Kreuzberg's Bergmannkiez district. With an almost sacred ambiance and the opportunity to breathe in Berlin's high-proof history. It doesn't get more Berlin than this.

Mampe loves people, so tours are only really fun for us with at least five participants. If fewer people sign up, the tour may be canceled. In this case, we will contact you well in advance.
